Chris Blance has created mnemonics for 263 high frequency words. Each word is  accompanied by visual images.

The author suggests that all mnemonics are multi-sensory since:

• each chants has an auditory ring
• each chant has a visual image
• they are kinaesthetic
• the chants have memorable stories
• they are fun to do
• many can be memorised in one go
