Whitelines Paper

Whitelines Paper

Whitelines is a new generation of writing paper.

The concept is patented and yet very simple. On traditional lined papers, the dark guidelines can confuse and obscure the similarly dark markings from pens and pencils (particularly on gridded paper).

Whitelines addresses this by making the background paper colour a very light grey with white guidelines so that when you write or draw on Whitelines paper there are three very distinct levels of colour tone; the white guidelines, the light grey background colour and the pen colour. There is no visual competition between the guidelines and the pen markings, so your writing and sketches stand out clearly.

In addition, the not-quite-white paper benefits the user with less glare than pure white paper in strong light. Another advantage is that the white lines disappear easily when using a photocopier, fax or scanner, to leave a clear image.

Nessy Tales

Nessy Tales - Animated Children's Stories on CD

A fun new way to improve children's reading, vocabulary and listening skills at home. Nessy Tales are animated reading books, structured with a limited vocabulary whilst retaining a vivid storyline. The careful choice of graded words provides vital reading practice at the beginning stages of reading, but the story content is suitable for a slightly older age group who may have fallen behind.

These interactive books can act as a vital bridge between listening and reading. The animations provide visual entertainment and motivation.

Twist'n'Write Pencils

PenAgain Twist'n'Write Pencils (set of 4)

A pack of four colourful propelling pencils. The novel PenAgain design forces the correct tri-pod grip and may be just the thing to encourage a reluctant child to start writing.

The pencils are slightly smaller than the original PenAgain so they are ideal for small hands (but would be uncomfortably small for larger adult fingers.)

They are intended to be disposable (there is about 3cm of usable lead in each one). The lead is advanced by turning the "nose cone" and there is an eraser incorporated into each branch of the wishbone handle.

Twist'n'Write Pencils (set of 4) - £4.95
